Issues with Pretty URLs 4.1

I have been having issues with Pretty URLs 4.1 on SMF 2.1.4. I will explain the issues which are all repeatable:

  • Upon install Pretty URLs 4.1 will wipe the .htaccess file of all contents and replace the contents with only it's entries.
  • After installation some urls go blank and have to be refreshed to actually go to the intended page. If 4.1 is not installed this does not happen.
  • Upon uninstall 4.1 does not remove it's entries from the .htaccess file.

I rolled back to version 4.0.1 and it shares the same .htaccess issues...

here is my fix for the .htaccess issue. It may not be elegant but is works... PrettyUrls4.1a.zip
