Not currently, right you will need to submit an image to a category. There is an option for a link in a user's profile that shows all the images they have submitted.

Will probably come in the future a release for or a mod for a personal gallery ?

I thought that it was possible to add a option for only personal photo album and that every user can upload his/her photo's in there profile :(

How about adding a batch upload through FTP. You load all your images through FTP then in the Gallery admin add the photos already on the server. Similar to Tinyportals batch upload in there Downloads module?
