SMF Staff mod, doesn't work on a theme CoreTheme-based

Hello people,
i use SMF 1.1.3, and a custom theme, based on the Core Theme(same structure, colours changed).

I've installed the SMF Staff but it doesn't works..i've tried to install switching the mod for custom to the default CoreTheme and it works.

The only problem is that i need it on my custom theme and i really do not understand a line of PHP.

Can you help me?

you gotta learn how to add a button.. its in your display.template.php file.. search for words that are already in the file on your board..

i run Dilber as my template so i am not much help.. but I just added that mod this morning.. and works great on my forums..
