Gallery Pro missing folder

Hey Hacks,whats up man.

Hey...i always used smf gallery pro. At one point i had coppermine in a "gallery" folder that i never used.

Today i was browsing Fanatastico in the cpanel and it said Coppermine was outdated and needed to update to new version.

Well,i dont use it so i deleted it.

Now my problem is that all images in smf gallery pro are gone. Nothing but dead links.

"path not writable"  public_html/gallery

I didnt know smf gallery pro resided in a folder called "gallery" with Coppermine.

Does this makes sense to you?

ps..i created a folder called "gallery" to make a path.

Best bet if you have a backup of the site you could recover the images from there. Also the files might have ended up in a trash location on the server depending on how it is set up.

Th gallery folder show having the following permission on linux servers 755

$30 later,i have the "gallery" folder back.  Im glad my host keeps back up files for a week.
