SMF Gallery Pro Released

SMFHacks.com is proud to announce the first edition of SMF Gallery Pro has been released.

Features added since the Lite Edition:

• Multiple pages for images in a category and other locations.
• Rating Pictures on scale of 1 to 5 stars
• Gallery admin's can delete ratings and view who rated a picture
• Gallery Stats page
• Reporting of Comments
• Editing own comments
• Bulk Adding of images
• Importing images from a folder on your server/website
• New Category options for posting topics when a picture is uploaded
• Comment approval listing, and reported comment listing
• File Space Manager shows how much space a user is using and allows you to delete pictures
• Upload Quota limits for member groups
• Gallery navigation on view picture
• Keywords text will not show if no keywords present
• XML support for recent images, getting a single picture, category listing, getting a single category
• New permissions: Rating Pictures, Edit own Comment, Auto Approve Comments
  
• New settings: Images per page, Max thumbnail width, Max thumbnail height, Display newest comments first,Top rated pictures on galley index, Most viewed pictures on gallery index, Most recent images on gallery index, Most commented images on gallery index

SMF Gallery Pro comes with the ability to upgrade from SMF Gallery Lite. It is easy to upgrade just uninstall the Lite edition of the gallery (it will keep all the pictures and database information)
Then install SMF Gallery Pro and you will be ready to go.

The members section contains some additional mods which you can use to get the most out the gallery such as SSI functions for the gallery.

Is it possible that every user has his/her own personal gallery in there profile ?

(NOT a global gallery, that you can view by clicking on the gallery button in de menu bar)

Not currently, right you will need to submit an image to a category. There is an option for a link in a user's profile that shows all the images they have submitted.

Will probably come in the future a release for or a mod for a personal gallery ?

I thought that it was possible to add a option for only personal photo album and that every user can upload his/her photo's in there profile

How about adding a batch upload through FTP. You load all your images through FTP then in the Gallery admin add the photos already on the server. Similar to Tinyportals batch upload in there Downloads module?

That is already in somewhat you can import pictures from a folder on the server
