Order and notification in picture comments

hello there.

2 things , a question and a request :
i noticed that under each picture in the gallery where comments appear , last post comes first (order of comments display is new to old). is there a way to reverse that so that it shows first comment first (order old to new) ?

i know there is no notification for new comment in puictures of the gallery (either the ones posted by a member or even all the pictures in the gallery). could it be that when a new comment is made the member that posted the picture gets a new pm notifying him/her that a new comment has been posted in one of his pictures ?

I belieive the lite versin has "Display newest comments first." setting checking and unchecking decides the comment order

there is no such thing in SMF Gallery Lite 1.7.6 (admin area) .

Both of those features are found in the pro version then.

does that mean there will be no code help to make this possible in my gallery ?
