SMF Gallery - Stand alone script???

Does anyone know if teh SMF gallery can be used as a stand alone script??  Or does it need to be integrated to the forum.  I am revamping a site and looking to add a gallery/video gallery to it, but I don't need a forum.

This is something I am thinking of working on for doing all my major mods such as the gallery,store,classifieds etc.
