Organize board topics Index
« on: January 11, 2008, 08:39:30 am »

Is there any mod to organize the topics of a board, like an Index? This Index would be a topic with links in alphabetic order to all other topics within the same board.

The board A has the following topics

- a, b, c, d, e f, g, h, etc.

The Index would be a topic with clickable links to all other topics in board A, organized in alphabetic order like:

I don't know if there is something like this already. If it does, I canīt find it by searching the forum.

Thanks in advance  ;)

Maybe this way you'll understand better.

You know what a book index is, right? So, this is the same thing.
You can create several topics in a board. The idea is to create an index in a board, where you could check all the topics in alphabetic order.

Let's try another example.
You have a board named MUSIC. In this board you have topics for several bands. Let's say Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Sodom, Exodus, Opeth, Cannibal Corpse, etc.

My idea is to create another topic on MUSIC board where you could check all the topics in that board, alphabetically. Like:

Cannibal Corpse

And by clicking one of those names, you would access the correspondent band topic.

What I need is a mod that automatically do this index.

I have te same problem here...

I'd like to make a review section  on my forum, that requires that "stuff" must be ordered alphabetically (one item per topic) so one can find it easily.

Later I'd like to put something like a rating/multi poll for each topic... like
Price:         ***
Quality 01 ********
Quality 02 ********
Quality 03 ********

only looking forward to a better product :D
thanks in advance

This would be nice to have, I have a board that is nothing but music and artist posts and it is hard to keep up with and find anything in. If there was a way it could be Alphabetized...SOOOO nice. :)
