smf_links_cat doesn't exist error
« on: April 10, 2009, 07:29:00 am »
Getting this error when I try to install the SMF Links mod on my site.  It was working, not sure what happened, though....

Table '*****.smf_links_cat' doesn't exist
File: /public_html/Packages/temp/linksql2.php
Line: 80

I'm using SMF 2.0 RC1 and Simpleportal 2.2.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Database tables probably did not get installed properly

I tried to import the tables, but I keep getting this message...

SQL query:

<?php //SMFHacks.com //Table SQL if (file_exists(dirname(__FILE__) . '/SSI.php') && !defined('SMF')) require_once(dirname(__FILE__) . '/SSI.php');

MySQL said:

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '<?php
//SMFHacks.com
//Table SQL

if (file_exists(dirname(__FILE__) . '/SSI.' at line 1

My web host recently upgraded mysql versions to 5.1, not sure if that might have something to do with it.  Either that or I just lost them, somehow.  Everything was working fine, not really sure what happened.

That's not proper SQL that is php code. You would need to convert the statements in that file to SQL code.
