Two questions that would help me ALOT
« on: February 16, 2008, 02:22:43 am »
1. I got the Download system mod. But It seems it wont let me upload anything larger than ten megs. Help?

2.The way this site is laid out looks GREAT. What do I use to not only make a homepage, but a forum and other things too

For #2 you need TinyPortal... when you add it to your SMF forum it gives you the ability to add a front page plus lots of other pages, also the side 'blocks' that you see here on SMFHacks.com and many other things.

and nothing bad like erasing my forum? Just makes it so it adds that. But what if my forum is the index, and not in the forum folder.

It works well with SMF and won't hurt your SMF install, it only adds to it.

You can get lots of good support and help for TinyPortal at the TP site, so...
You should post your questions about TP over in the TP boards. ;)

1. Is a limit in your php settings. You need to increase the max allowed upload size.
