Read image IPTC data and extract & show image caption and description

I (and other photographers that use my site) spend a lot of time updating and embedding IPTC information in our images, including Caption, Description and Keywords.  It would be nice if Gallery PRO could read this IPTC information and use it, at least for the image title and description.   It's a PITA to have to type this in again for every image. 

I think Coppermine has had a "hack" that can do this for quite some time???

If this feature isn't in the pipeline, then I need to seriously think about migrating to another gallery software

I was looking into exif support at one time but currently do not have enough sample images to support a feature like this.
