creating user galleries
« on: March 05, 2008, 04:56:22 pm »
A couple of questions :)

1. How do people create their own user galleries?

2. As I have upgraded from Gallery Lite to Gallery Pro, my members already had their own Galleries set up as categories in the Lite version. Is there anyway of turning these categories into the member's user galleries? I have tried editting the categories and adding them as sub categories of the default Member Galleries section, but they don't show in there and now I;m strugging to get them back!

Thanks in advance for the help!

Paul

1. Their membergroup would need to have the personal gallery permission. If you do not have that permission check the other topic you made I have answer.

2. You would need to edit the picture as admin and there is an option to move it to a personal gallery. A category in their personal gallery needs to be created first!

1. Many thanks - as per my other topic, I;ve sorted this now ;)

2. So there is no way of converting existing categories into user categories? It has to be done image by image?

2. Correct it is two separate tables in the database since they have different structures.
