watermark not transparent

i am using logo creator to make my transparent .png but when it gets put on the photo in the gallery it has a black background.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Does your gallery support .png? or are you changing your .png to .jpg?

the gallery does work with .png files i have used others. i tried putting it over another photo and it was transparent. this one has me stumped

I don't it supports transparent png files for the watermark the gallery uses GD to copy the image to a portion of the uploaded image but does not do any transparent affects to it.

i tried a gif and a jpg
and it looks like a block with the words in it
still no transparent

Guess there's no answer for why there's a black box around the logo I'm using for my watermark?  What makes me confused on this is if you take any picture and put that watermark on it won't do it its only on Gallery Pro

Released an update to fix this

+Added support for transparent watermarks. Grabs the pixel at 1,1 and uses that as the transparent color
