Hidden shop items?

Is there anyway to hide an item in the shop but directly url link it to someone?

I do some product design work and would like to be able to sell the files to customers via the shop without everyone seeing them.

If i could just link them to an item that isnt visible in the shop that would be great. I was able to do this with my joomla cart software in the past.

Would be a good feature request.
There should be a hide option but that just hides from the gallery and allows only admin's to view the product.
