SOLVED: Comment Text Colors

Newbie..
Simple question probably to most -- Changing text color for comments. I have a black theme and comment text is black. Where can change this?  I am not a coder at all but can follow directions.

I'm guessing that you need to edit the style.css file for your theme. look for "smalltext". If one doesn't exist create one and set it to how you want it to appear. If that doesn't do it, provide a link to your site.

Well there is nothing called smalltext in the file. Can you show me the code to add? I'm not, nor do I pretend to be a programmer, I'm a video editor
