AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED!
« on: July 04, 2008, 01:43:15 am »
I was just notified by a member of my forum that when they try to access the gallery they get a page that just says:

"An Error Has Occurred!"

then a link to go "Back"

It seems to only work for Administrators so it seems like a Permissions issue. However, here's the big problem:

1. When I modify the permissions for each membergroup there are no permission options for the Gallery feature.
2. In the Administration Center over on the side menu under "Configuration" there is an empty line between "Server Settings" and "Current Theme" and there is no "Gallery Configuration" link like there used to be.
3. If I try to uninstall it so I can reinstall it (or if I try to reinstall it on top of itself) I get two Test Failed notices:

Quote
1.     Execute Modification     ./Themes/default/languages/Modifications.english.php     Test failed
2.    Execute Modification    ./Themes/default/languages/Modifications.english-utf8.php    Test failed

I am running SMF 1.1.5 and the gallery version is 1.8.3.

Thank you and I hope to be able to get this fixed very soon.

Change your language under Admin -> Server settings to just english instead of english uft8.

If that still does not work manually copy the edits to the modifications.*.php files using the http://www.smfhacks.com/smf-package-parser.html
