A main gallery and a user gallery?

I just upgraded to the latest version when I switched my forum to RC3. Are there now two galleries? One for a user and one for what? A main one is for who to add photos?

The main gallery is still there and works the same as the old one.

If you use user galleries gives each user has the option to have their own personal gallery. This permission controlled and you can set which groups you want to have a personal gallery.
