Massupload with more than 5 pictures

Hi all,

I'm using SMF Gallery Pro 1.3.21 and i'm trying to increase the amount of pictures I can upload using the mass upload feature.

For Pro 1.2.2 it says I can upload more than just the 5 pics per upload but I can't find a setting where to increase that number.

Any ideas how I could do that?

I don't recommend it but you can do it. You will need to edit gallery.template.php

Change the number of five to the number of fields you wish to show.

Probably not because I do not want to support more than five fields at a time to upload pictures.

i have done the change in the code. however when i do a batch upload, i get an error saying that "you need to select a category".

That is caused by PHP if your php max_upload_size and post size are not high enough it will reject the upload.

Happens with large images. Normallly the php settings are set to 2mb of uploads a time but you can increase this by editing the php settings.
