No thumbnails in gallery index

There is no option for the last uploaded image to appear next to the category in the listing.

I'm having the same problem, on 1.1.1.  No thumbnail is being created.

i have the same problem too...

i am using smf 1.1.2, tinyportal 0.9.7, php5.0, apache 2.2.4, mySQL 5.0...don't have any mods installed...and i am using default theme...i am developing using localhost...

the settings are:
Gallery Path: C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\smf\gallery
Gallery Url: http://localhost/smf/gallery/

You need to have GD installed it is a php extension that resizes images.
Check Admin -> Support credits and see if it is listed.

my GD version: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)

but no thumbnails appear....

Check to make sure the gallery folder is writable.

hi there i have the same problem..... this is my smf version Powered by SMF 1.1.2 | alienation

i've already set the gallery folder to 777 still no thumbnails are showing PLEASE HELP ME

I got GD file. if you dont mind please give  step by step to install it because there is no clues in insttaling it in GD Lib. i Believe it will be usefull for others also. Thx
