Catagories Side by Side
« on: August 11, 2008, 11:09:45 pm »
I have seen this when surfing around looking at other smf gallery pro sites and am wondering how they do it. It seems possible to make two columns pf catagories so you have two shorter catagories side by side rather than one long one. Its been a while since I've run across one of these sites but after searching through 23 pages of threads posted about gallery mods and hacks, I simply cannot find anything about it.

Hopefully someone here knows what I am talking about but if I run across one of these sites I'll come back with a link to show you. I had a few bookmarked for future ref but Firefox bit the dust and lost my bookmarks :(

This is a site with a similar mod but its for Coppermine. I know I have seen that people have modified SMF Gallery like this and others I've asked remember  as well. But its hard to find SMF Gallery sites to find the ones I need to show you.

Can anyone figure out how this feature might be done for SMF Gallery Pro or even Lite for that matter?

Thanks

No one hunh?

Ok, then how about this.

Can anyone here figure out how to add a thumb for the sub galleries? We have thumbs for the main boars but what I need is a way to may the sub galleries act more like Coppermine and other gallery software where you can see four thumbs across. The members of my site do not like the sub galleries with text links on the parent board and have been asking if we can somehow put four thumbs across for each gallery instead of the parent board which takes up and leaves a lot of empty space. If we can't get that, I was thinking thumbnails where the text link for each sub gallery is might be the next best thing.

Possible?
