Gallery In Content

Hi
 Is there a way to insert a gallery ( a folder of images ) in content that is in form of a TP article or SMF article ( I am NOT talking about a block here)

what I mean is lets say I am writing an article that has two paragraphs and in between the two paragraphs I want to add a small gallery of images that relate to the article

Does this make sense ??

is there something like this that exists already?
