Qty in stock problem

Installed SMF Store 1.3 Beta 2

Have stock qty showing & have checked "requires stock" on a couple of items I've got customers saying they couldn't purchase the item due to "no stock available".

Checked & double checked the stock level, was correct. I'm at a loss.

I've got around it for now by turning off the "requires stock" option.

Any ideas?

If a customer adds it to the shopping cart it will lower the stock qty by one since we do not want customers buying more items than are in stock. That is one way I can think that could happen.

Are you saying that if someone adds a product to the shopping cart & doesn't finalise the transaction that product is still reserved for that cutomer?

One of the products I have had 4 in stock but couldn't be purchased due to "no stock available". Another product was 2 remaining in stock with same result.

If I read you correctly & the above is correct, can you think of anyway to clear stock left in the shopping cart?
