gallery no more accessible
« on: December 21, 2008, 01:56:00 pm »
hy

i have installed smf gallery pro on smf 1.1.2

after upgrading to "i don't remember what smf version" (now i use 1.1.7),  i am unable to access gallery administration page (no more link in admin), or in user interface ...

i have a block which continues to show pictures, but that all ...

if I try to install latest smf gallry pro version (SMF Gallery Pro 1.4.5), it says also :

Table 'jdea1_001.smf_gallery_usersettings' doesn't exist
File: C:\xxx\Packages\temp\galleryinstall.php
Ligne: 512

Also about a db problem, my smf db supposed to be dated of 1.1.2 ...

i don't know what to do

thanks for your help

It looks like it didn't create the user settings table for the gallery. I would try to either run the upgrade for gallery again or create the table manually using the following

Code: [Select]
CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS smf_gallery_usersettings
(
ID_MEMBER mediumint(8) unsigned NOT NULL,
title tinytext,
password tinytext,
private tinyint(4) default 0,
icon tinytext,
gallery_index_toprated tinyint(4) default 0,
gallery_index_recent tinyint(4) default 0,
gallery_index_mostviewed tinyint(4) default 0,
gallery_index_mostcomments tinyint(4) default 0,
gallery_index_showtop tinyint(4) default 0,

PRIMARY KEY (ID_MEMBER))

hy

thanks for your answer !

i have deleted all previous gallery table in my database, and run the package install through admin interface

now i have this message :

"Can't create table '.\jdea1_001\smf_gallery_pic.frm' (errno: 121)
Fichier: C:\xxx\Packages\temp\galleryinstall.php
Ligne: 57

it says that mu smf databse apparently is outdated, from version 1.1.2 instead of 1.1.7 ... I have always run update script like requested, i don' understand ...

any idea ?

That is a strange error what mysql version are you running?
Are you using INNODB by default

I did a google search
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=can%27t+create+table+errno%3A+121&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=

Found a couple results that seem to say it is an innondb issue
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/214016
If you are using  innodb instead of myisasm as the default storage engine for mysql
