the customer should have the option for "Script installation service". It could be a GREAT potential income for you and even-better for the person purchasing your product with "NO hassles", just purchase and GO-LIVE...! Most already offer this type of options/features on/or prior to purchase...

Modifications are installed pretty easily with SMF's package manager.

The issue with that is that takes extra time on my side, I would have to worry about password security, and also if people would expect the modification to install on a custom theme.
