How do i upgrade ?

When i try to install the new 1.6.9 version over the older 1.6.5 it says that Gallery lite allready exists.
And i can't uninstall the old version because it says that the uninstall script is missing.

Adding ;version_emulate=1.1 to the end of the package manager's url will Emulate you having 1.1 Final and not 1.1.1 so you can uninstall.

Well thanks. But if you could help me a little bit by telling me in which file this package manager's url is located.
I am not so familiar with the smf file system yet.

Basiclly you go to the package manager in your forum
In the address bar add
;version_emulate=1.1

To the url and hit enter to load the page or press go and you should be able to unistall.

I didn't realize it could be that easy, not needing to touch the scripts.
