Multiple "Links" Nav-menu Entries
« on: December 19, 2006, 09:44:25 am »
Hi,

I've just updated my SMF Forum (wow.forumtech.ca)to the latest 1.1.1 patch, and when i tried to apply the latest version of SMF links, the pre-install test suggests all is fine, only to send me off to a screen displaying the following Database error:

Quote
You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'title` VARCHAR(100) NOT NULL,
`description` VARCHAR(255) NOT N
File: /home/[cencured]/public_html/wow/Packages/temp/linksql.php
Line: 30

Silly as I was, I thought I did something wrong, hit my back button and tried to install it again. Same thing.
Now I discovered though, that the Navigation Menu suddenly have multiple entries of "Links", all giving the following error when I click it:

Quote
Unknown column 'ID_PARENT' in 'where clause'
File: /home/[cencured]/public_html/wow/Sources/Load.php(1724) : eval()'d code
Line: 34

([cencured] = my hosting ID, not an error)

Any chance this can be checked at and I can be told where to go to remove the multiple links?

Thanks,

/Anaila

To remove the multiple links in the menu. You will need to edit index.template.php of the default theme.

Fixed the install for the Links mod.
