Payments
« on: March 25, 2009, 10:20:16 pm »
I see you can specify a cost for each listing, upgrades, etc.   How/when does this payment get processed. If I set it up for $1 per listing, does the seller send me a paypal payment for $1 when the listing is posted?  Seems like paypal would get .35 for each listing and I would get about .65.

Are these assumptions correct?

For categories that require payment to add listings.  The seller would buy listing credits for that category. Once the payment is received credits are added to the user's account which then allows them to post a listing in the category.

So let me see if I understand this. Lets say I was going to charge $1.00 to list. I could setup where the user could purchase listing credits at say $10.00. They would then have credits to place 10 listings. Is this correct?

Yes credits work on a category level. They purchase credits for a specific category of listings.
