I know I am using a custom theme which throws a wrinkle in the works but. . . the checkout button should show as a "button" to press shouldn't it?

I just registered as a user and was able to see the button the Blocked them by Crip

The checkout is just a standard submit button.

I think he was expecting the mouse pointer to change from an arrow to a finger.  A lot of people cling to that.  If the mouse pointer doesn't change. . . they don't click.
