Fatal Error FTP
« on: May 06, 2009, 08:43:54 pm »
Just tried to upload via an ftp folder and 2 strange things are happening

1.
Code: [Select]
Fatal error: Call to undefined function filesizie() in /home/XXXX/public_html/math/forum/Sources/Load.php(1944) : eval()'d code on line 3914
i notice that filesizie is spelt incorrectly and wondered if that was the problem, and when i checked Load.php, it did not have lines as far as 3914, so didn't know how to proceed.
It only lists the first file of about 7 in that folder, so i am guessing that it has failed to do its thing on the first file and just quit on the rest.

2. The second oddity is that the folders in the downloads, (have enabled multiple folders) are not visible in my ftp program (cuteftp-pro 8.3). I can see them via the cpanel interface (which is a demon to work with cos you can only add one file at a time so it defeats the purpose of the batch add in the first place). Is there any reason or filter or secret thing i need to do to make them show up in the ftp interface?

thanks

1. Fixed the filesize bug for 1.0.3

2. The screenshot show's the main folder struture. If you are doing an ftp import you would place any files/folders that you wish to import into the ftp folder folder in the screenshot of your post. Then in the Downloads System you would click on the FTP link and import the files from that interface.

Yep, this i understand, what i was trying to say, is that i cannot upload the files via ftp since the folders are not showing up on the ftp interface. I cannot load the files into the downloads/ftp folder as it appears not to be there. From the cap you should be able to see that only the .svn is showing in the ftp, it is missing the catimgs, fonts, ftp and scripts folders. Inside the ftp folder on the cpanel is a folder called geometry, and everything seems to be in order. All of these folders are missing in the ftp window

Whereas in the cpanel, the folders are there and i can load the files, but i have to do it file by file, i cant just drag say 30 files and drop them into the folder as i would via ftp since the folder isnt visible in my ftp program.

This is making it impossible for me to actually load the files via ftp onto the server so they can then be imported via the ftp area in the forum. Could there be something causing the folders to be hidden or not visible in ftp program that is different from the cpanel file manager?

Hope that is a little clearer

Have you tried to scroll all the way over in ftp. FTP order by characters then numbers then letters. So in this case ftp would be near the other end.

yep, tried that, they are just not there, which strikes me as very odd. It could be something wrong with my ftp program, as clearly they are actually there, but just not showing. It is just that i have never experienced this particular issue with the ftp before and wondered if it could be some strange permission or something like that. It seems quite bizzare.

I just double checked it again, and it has generated a folder called 0, and that seems to have in it the file i tried to unsuccessfully import previously that generated the fatal error.

In your ftp client. I would try typing /forum/downloads/ftp/  as the path after you to get the downloads folder.

I should have 1.0.3 released sometime tomorrow May 8, 2009 with a bunch of updates.
