Membership Prices on product overview page?
« on: May 06, 2009, 11:47:48 am »
A lot of people are confused when they see prices next to products they thought they were getting for free when they signed up for membership.

Could you please enable an option to allow members to see the member pricing on all pages that list prices?

Actually I'd love to have all users see all price points to products wherever prices are listed so they can more quickly see the value in purchasing membership over purchasing the products at full price.

Does that make sense?

Added a setting to 1.3.4 that allows them to see the price based on the group they are in for all locations in the store.

Well that helps but it doesn't help with "upsell".

Like if I'm NOT a member . . . and I'm looking around and I'm thinking "crap all these are expensive!" I'll probably just leave and not buy anything.

But if I'm NOT a member and I look around and see that if all I have to do is become a member and all the prices go way down or become free. . . then I'll want to become a member.  See?
