There is SimpleBlog mod but it is not perfect. I took over it from someone else and plan to redo eventually.

Yeah I have that...

Downloaded mod then browsed in the package manager and got it up,
however there is NO "install" beside the mod list on this package, its just there
And I can't find it anywhere.

When installed the blog options appear in the user's profile on the default theme. What SMF version were you running the blog on?

Probably means the mod was not unistalled completely. I am not that familiar with the mod yet.

If you upgraded to 1.1.1 from 1.1 final, go to package manager and type
Code: [Select]
;version_emulate=1.1at the end of the url and click enter. This will make it think that you still running 1.1 final and the "uninstall" link should come right up.

It happened to me also and i removed it by using this code in the url.

One of these days I am going to make a mod that does it. I see no reason not to allow a user to unistall or install a mod at least give them an option to try.

Well ive done that alot of times,
added it to the address bar etc etc in the package manager

BUT when I browse and try to install mods for 1.1

It says incorrect version or file may have been corrupt,
I have downloaded new copies of the files and tried installing direct from the servers, and it doesnt appear to work.
