Ideas from my users

1.     Option to users to display "featured art" in their user gallery. This way they could designate (maybe a limited number of) images which would display in a block above their gallery categories.

2.     A way to favorite a user or watch a user (similar to deviantArt) so that other users can see who a user likes and so the user can receive updates of when that artists uploads new images.

3.     The ability to comment on a comment. My users would love to be able to comment back to specific comments and have them threaded out so that the comment to the comment isn't out of order.

4.      Don't display thumbnails of images marked mature. Put a simple warning image in it's place so a user doesn't even have to see the thumbnail. (Make this work also for random image and recent image blocks used in portal systems.)

1 and 2 I can do

3. Possible if I do it only one level deep otherwise people can comment on a comment on a comment etc.

4. Should already be built in. A mature warning is shown unless they choose to accept view mature content.

On 3, One deep would be excellent. Mostly, the artists want to be able to comment back to remarks left on the picture.

As for 4, I'll have to double check. It doesn't seem to be working, but it may just be my installation not working properly. Or I may have a setting wrong somewhere.

My users will really appreciate 1 and 2 going in! You continue to impress me with your responsiveness to suggestions.

There is in fact a Mature Content warning but make sure to explain what mature content is as some of our members were using it for images with no mature content lol. i guess they know it will get more views.

Let me know as well about 1& 2 as those would be nice additions to any gallery.

Now that you have the ability to 'watch' users for new art.. Can you make it so an artist can see who is watching them?

Any chance on letting an artist feature art in their own member gallery?

And, any luck at getting comments comments (one deep would be great!)?
