Database Error when using FTP/Import files
« on: June 10, 2009, 01:26:52 pm »
I can ftp a file to downloads/ftp.

Then I go to download config>ftp, check mark file name and select a catergory. Then I click "Import File".

Then I'm taken to a page that shows me a box that is titled "Database Error" and it says.

Quote
Duplicate entry '1' for key 1
File: /home/applianc/public_html/Sources/Downloads2.php
Line: 4442

I also had to create the ftp directory in /home/applianc/public_html/downloads/ftp/ as it was not there.
There seem to be a blank file called ftp in /downloads but no directory.

Also each time I tried to create the /ftp directory I would get a message saying the file already was there and it was, but I was trying to create a directory, not a file. Once I removed the ftp file I was able to create the /ftp directory and upload using ftp.

Still not sure why I get the other error when trying to import files after I upload them using ftp.

Thanks,

Edited to add: Using SMF 2.0 RC1-1

I also get this error in the log after I try to "Import File".

http://appliancewiki.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=batchftp2

Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message

2: Wrong parameter count for mysql_num_rows()
Apply Filter: Only show the errors from this file

File: /home/applianc/public_html/Sources/Downloads2.php

A little more info that maybe related.

When I try to delete a download I get this error again.

Duplicate entry '1' for key 1
File: /home/applianc/public_html/Sources/Downloads2.php
Line: 4442

I was able to delete download error free before I did the upgrade to pro.

Some how the file I have been trying to delete has been added to the category many times.

http://appliancewiki.com/index.php?action=downloads;cat=3

Confussing, lol..

Edited to add: I get this error anytime I try to add a download, not just when using ftp.

Duplicate entry '1' for key 1
File: /home/applianc/public_html/Sources/Downloads2.php
Line: 4442

Sorry for so many post, just wanted to give you any information that may help solve the problems I'm having, thanks.

I've also had a problem when trying to delete a file from Download Pro - I reported it some time ago to SMFHacks, so hopefully he's working his way through all these issues, and maybe even adding some nice new features too? :)

Going to try and start over with a new install of smf 1.1.9 and see what happens.

update:

I removed smf 2.0 and installed 1.1.9

Everthing that was not working for me before seems to be working just fine now.

Maybe it was just something I did, but I'm going to stick with SMF 1.1.9 for now. :)
