Vacation Setting?
« on: June 27, 2009, 08:35:44 am »
I don't know if this could be added or not, but when I had a ebay store there was a "Vacation" setting for the store.

From what I remember you would put your store in "Vacation" mode and then there were a couple options you could pick from.

1. Hide all items.
2. Show all items with ship date.

It would be awesome if we had some type of "Vacation" setting for the SMF store.

As it is now I will need to manually remove stock from each item, take parts and shipping supplies on the road with me or pay someone else to ship the parts out when I go on vacation this summer.

Just a thought.

Maybe. But you could also one of the following:
Either remove permissions to view the store via SMF.

Or you could do a redirect link inside the top of Store.php
Example add after <?php
Code: [Select]
header("Location: http://www.myforum.com/mymessage.html");

I like both of them idea's, thanks!

As for the redirect maybe you could add something were all we have to do is check mark a box and put in a redirect link in the admin settings.
