When I try to search in the custom field I get this error:

Hello,

Searching custom fields still causes error 500 in v2.5b3:
When searching in custom fields together with Description, Title or keyword.

When I unselect the other ( Description, Title or keyword) and search in the custom fields only, it works fine.

Hmmmm.... all combinations. No matter which combination. All combinations are causing this......
Strange enough: there are no errors in the log

These are all options I tried. The green ones are fine. Red not. When I look into the database I see a couple of custom fields which are not in use anymore. Could that give the problem?

I can give you access to the database and website as admin if you need.

I'm sorry, but searching the custom fields is still not working correct. Still the same error 500 issue.....

Hello mr SMFHacks,

I finally disabled searching in custom fields. It caused an crash of the website. After a minute or so, the site is up again. Thats not acceptable for me. All tough I understand that you cant reproduce this, I like to see an solution if possible.

We upgraded our forum from SMF 1.1.8 to SMF 2.0b4 -> 2.0RC1.2 (now). Could it be possible when there are some special characters in the custom fields which causes this error? Did you (maybe) made an mistake with uppercase/lowercase/underscore in the search query?

I wish I could help finding this issue. Don't know where to start. If you want, I can give you an Admin account and also database access.

Most likely will remove custom fields searching for the next update not sure what is causing works on my site.
