I want to put also Place: in the listing for Classifieds, under Description: How Do I do this?

Yes, a new field that tell where the seller/buyer lives.

This can actually be done using custom fields under edit category.
If you edit a category you have the option to add custom fields as an option all listings/auction in that category. Located on the bottom of the edit category page.
