Upload problem
« on: November 29, 2009, 09:53:20 am »
I'm using Download System from the SMF Customize folder by vbgamer45 on SMF RC2. Some files will not upload to the server saying that I need to enter a download title. Well the title is there. Any idea what is causing this error?
Also some of the files if they do get uploaded show 0 for file size and can not be downloaded.
thanks,

Most likely the file is larger than the limits setup by php

Thanks, I did eventualy find that thread and have been trying for the past half hour to do just that but end up with an access error. so for some reason the inclussion of a .htaccess file in the root directory isn't working for me. (there was not one previously)
Some files I was uploading were under 2megs and they showed 0 in the file size after upload was successful.
Is there any other means to change the php 2m limit?

Work around - thanks to having the option of "Upload URL" I've ftp'd the files to the server, put in the link and all is well with the exception the file size shows "0".
The up side is that the files are downloadable at any size above the limited php 2m
