Is there a bit of code I could add to the pro gallery to get the Favorites feature

the one where you click under the image to "add to favorites" then when that artist uploads another image we get notified about our favorite artist?

tried that earlier this year and thought to ask if it had been accomplished or if someone could tell me what to add where to do it...I can do it myself if told where to put the coding and of course the coding...lol

am very pleased with this gallery, my admins caught on to it really easily which is a big plus. ty

What does the favorites show? Just a list of images that meets the above criteria?

what it is ...

when you see an artist and like ANY of his images you click the link to "add to favorites"

then the member is sent an email telling them when that particular person uploads a new image.

I think it would be connected to the artist/member id number and not the images.

it basically lets us know when an image is uploaded by a particular artist in our gallery

For me, the perfect solution would be:
An option for favorite images; this concerns the images in the gallery: when you see a nice image in the gallery, (made by another artist), you click "add to favorites" and this specific image is filed in your own 'favorites' map. So every time you open your own favorite map, you see your favorite images from others. 

And an option for favorite artists, that you can be notified by an email and (to make it more perfect) even a separate map with the avatars of your favorite artist.

Hello SMFHacks,

Do you have plans in the near future to implement this 'favorite images future' into the Gallery? Or does this need a push on the donate button first? 
I don't want to be impolite but it is a 'most wanted future' for our Gallery. We get this question on a weekly base from our members. The Gallery will be more 'complete' with this future implemented.

Please let me know what you think of this. And/or let me know the costs by PM.

I agree with Vincent that being able to 'favorite' individual images would be a great addition. It could also be nice if users favorite image page was also publicly viewable in case they want to show off what they like.

I could see doing it. Probably would require another page to list all your favorite images, a way to favorite an image and unfavorite an image.
