Warning Gallery Category Image Path is not writable!
« on: January 25, 2007, 01:33:54 pm »
When I got into "Edit Category" I see the following:

Warning Gallery Category Image Path is not writable! /smf/gallery/catimgs

Yet I can still upload to the gallery ? I made the gallery folder CHMOD 777 but that didn't fix it ? What am I doing wrong ?

TIA,
Veldfire

Need to do the same for gallery/catimgs  path.

Make sure you have folder inside gallery called catimgs and make sure it is writable.

But I am not using them so there is no folder there ? Shouldn't it only appear when it's being used ?

Add the folder and the warning disappears. It is just a warning you don't have to worry about if you do not upload category images.
