link to a ftp-server ?

Hi, i don't know if i'm right here, but:
is it possible to link to a ftp-server for "only" reading access ? There hasn't to be an upload, but linking to my ftpserver will give more space than from my webhoster.

If I am understanding correctly you want to add a remote file on a download that is linked from an ftp account?
