flooding error log
« on: February 21, 2011, 03:12:24 pm »
my forum error log gets flooded with this error

Code: [Select]
8: Undefined index: by
File: /home/content/t/i/l/tiltbuster/html/Themes/default/Store.template.php (tp_above sub template - eval?)
Line: 92

it is creating thousands of log pages daily.  I have searched SMF forums for solutions, but they all seem to go off course and are of no help.

Any idea what may be going on here?

Running SMF 1.1.13 - TinyPortal 1.0 beta 5-1 - Store  1.4beta2

thanks

Try running this sql command to get the true error log line number
Code: [Select]
REPLACE INTO smf_settings VALUES ('disableTemplateEval', 1);

I'm not sure how to execute the command - can you offer a bit of guidance?

thanks

If you have phpmyadmin in your control panel login into that then find your database and switch into that.
Then in the sql command tab run
Code: [Select]
REPLACE INTO smf_settings VALUES ('disableTemplateEval', 1);

This will get you the true error line number and file.
