Copy item to another category does not appear to work

When you tick the 'Copy item to another category' box on the upload page and then click on 'Add picture' I get an error message saying  'You need to create a category first before you upload a picture.' But it does upload the picture to the category selected at the top.

I can't understand as I want to copy the item to another existing category, but there is no where to select it.
Am I misunderstanding this, what I want to do is copy an image to several categories using a single upload.

What SMF version do you have?
And are you copying a picture from a normal to another normal category
Or are you copy it to a user gallery?

I have SMF 1.1.13 using a theme which is based on a copy of the default theme with just some colours altered in the CSS file.
I was trying to copy from a normal to another normal gallery.
Though I may need to copy to and from User Galleries as well in future.

Try this Gallery.php file copy it to your Sources/ folder and let me know if it works.

OK will have to try that tomorrow, its late here in Europe now. But I think I may be on to something, it seems that copy facility is not enabled unless the person uploading has created thier own categories in thier own Gallery. After creating my own gallery I now get an option as to where to copy it too, but have not had chance to fully try it out yet.  So far we have not put anything in Members Galleries we have just been uploading to other Galleries we have created.

I have installed the new Gallery.php file and the copy now works fine. I don't have to create a user gallery first any longer.
