Questions: Default image and simple portal block support?
« on: September 11, 2011, 02:19:12 am »
I would really like to integrate SMF Classifieds to my already existing site but I have two questions I hope you can answer:

1. Is there an option to configure the recent ads area to display a default image if users do not upload any images for an ad? I find that, for example in the demo site, when an image is not uploaded with an ad that it makes the display not appear uniform. Also, can you restict the image thumbnail size for this area so they appear uniform?

2. I am using SimplePortal with my existing site and I would need to be able to add a block showing recent activity with regards to SMF Classifieds (recent ads, random as, etc similar). I do not see this an existing option. Are there any plants to ad support for this? The fact that I have not seen any mention of this has previously kept me from making a purchase but I hope that we will see it supported.

1. Just added default image setting. 2.0.3
+Added setting to setup a default picture under Classifieds Settings -> Layout Settings

2. We have some SSI code in the forums to show a random listing/a specific listing. If not we can code a simple block to display the information.
