Instructions for modding themes

Are there any instructions for modding themes to enable SMF Gallery Pro?

My board is setup with TP and the default theme, but I have a bunch of other TP ready themes and I would like to enable the Gallery on those too.

The the custom theme's index.template.php file will need to be edited to normally located in the template_menu function.
