adding "gallery link" to themed messageboard (appearing, but not aligned)

Hello,

I read a few threads and understand how to insert the code which would insert the "gallery link" in my navigation:

// Gallery Button
   if ($context['allow_smfgallery_view'])
      echo '<li><a href="', $scripturl, '?action=gallery">' , $txt['smfgallery_menu']  , '</a></li>';

...However, when I insert it it's not appearing correctly in my menu navigation (see attachment -also live here: http://www.went2networks.com/smf)

I have attached my index.php code. 

Can anyone advise how to better integrate this into the menu navigation?
