Max Images Per File - Question

Hello:

I now own SMF Gallery pro and I need to know if there is a set number of max images a single file will hold? The reason I ask is I want to put 4,000 images per file. In my pre-sales question someone suggested it was 1000 and that I might need to tweak the code. If so please tell me where and how to tweak the code.
