Is there a mod that will cut down on how people register? I mean real people. I get 150 regestrations a day and 99.99 are BS. I have all the SMF gaurds in play but they are not good enough. I have to do it manually. Is there something to stop this?

If you are using SMF 2.0
I suggest using the questions and answers antispam system built into SMF. That will have the biggest impact

I am using 1.1.17 and I just need the BS regestraions to stop. About 100 per hr. I am using the reCAPTCHA Verification System but it dont slow them down. I have it set to member approval do I need ot set it to member activation?

I would try member activation and the stop forum spam will help a lot.
