Joomla/SMF/SMF Gallery
« on: April 25, 2007, 12:45:05 pm »
Im trying out the lite version right now and am really interested in making this work with my current set up

How can I fix the redirectexit problem with this gallery when using joomla/smf bridge by joomlahacks?

Joomla 1.0.12
SMF 1.1.2
Jommla-SMF Bridge by JoomlaHacks

When trying to add/comment/modify boards or images, it goes to the stand alone forum. the redirect is this

redirectexit('action=gallery;sa=view;id=' . $id);

is there any way to fix this? I really want to purchase the smf gallery pro but this little problem is preventing me from doing so. I wanna use it here

http://www.canonphotographers.net

thank you

The joomlahacks bridge would need custom code I have not used that bridge so not sure what it would be.

It is supposedly very similar to the Ortiz bridge. Is there anything that has been done for that bridge?

Yes you would have to write some code to make it work with that bridge otherwise everything with be in its own window.

Hi there,

I have buyed the GalleryPro Version today and was surprised by this "feature". I'am not a coder but it seems very corious to me, that the other Links were not redirect to the standalone forum. Only the submit-buttons do so. Can this be a problem of the bridge?
Sorry for my bad English-Knowledges. I am from Germany.
Otherwise a very good Mod. ;)

Bye and thanks for your help

Michael

Works ok with Ostrio's old bridge. But for the Joomlahacks I think they would need to add support for the gallery it uses standard smf urls.

Hallo all,

Joomlahacks has been I love SMF. There is no forum-support at the moment.

I have the following Problem:

The "show gallery"-Link out of the profile links to the standalone Forum.
In difference the "show gallery"-Link in a thread links to the bridged forum.
Its the same mod and its the same bridge. I didnt think it was a bridge problem. Why is it so?

Thanks

Michael
