Thumbnail for gallery view

Im sure i missed a setting somewhere but ive spent some time looking.
The pics in the gallery are appearing normal size and its ugly. What settings should i be looking at?
I want to have thumbnails on the classifieds page.

The main settings that control the picture size on a classifieds listing are
Max thumbnail width:   
Max thumbnail height:

And those are found in admin -> Classifieds Settings
