Feature Request - Gallery Pro
« on: March 18, 2013, 05:56:57 am »
Please correct me if I am mistaken but the layout of the Gallery looks to be designed with a square monitor in mind. Whilst this is OK for a square monitor, it's not so good on a landscape (Widescreen) Monitor.

Is it possible to have an option in the next version, to place the menu down the LEFT or RIGHT hand side so that more of the image is visible?

As you can see from the two attachments, the gallery looks reasonable on a square monitor. The first, where we have a reasonably sized logo and a preview image cuts off the bottom of the main photo, the second with no logo and no preview shows the whole photo, just.

Imagine this on a widescreen monitor. Essentially only the top of the main photo is visible.

Yes I could remove or tweak things to make it display better but then would loose other features, like the top fixe and so on that you have incorporated into the software.

So it's really just a "Wish list" request, not a complaint, that you could somehow rework the layout to better support wide screen displays, please.

Thanks

Chas.

Now home I have take an equivalent set of screen shots on my laptop to further demonstrate the need for a side menu.

Hope this helps with development.

Chas.
